Editor in Chief:

Catherine Kohman (aka Celevon Elensar) is a life-long fan of JRR Tolkien’s works. Her own fantasy novel, The Beckoning Ghost, won the first Best Paranormal Novel Award (also known as the Golden Heart Award) presented by Romance Writers of America. She has served on the board of writers’ groups in Minnesota and Utah, judged for national writing contests and is a member of Mystery Writers of America. Like any apt pupil of the wizard Mithrandir, she loves lore and legend.

In 2004 she attended the Marquette University conference, which further inspired her to collect LOTR fans’ stories. In August 2005 she attended Tolkien 2005 in Birmingham, England, the 50th anniversary celebration of the publication of The Lord of the Rings. This gathering of scholars and Ringers from around the world combined the wealth of Tolkien research with the genuine warmth and fellowship of the fan community. She hopes to return to England again for a visit to Oxonmoot.

Co-editors:

Ránëwén Oronar has published three highly reviewed historical novels and is a former instructor for the Writer’s Digest Writing School. She also attended Marquette University and soaked up the rarefied literary atmosphere associated with the Tolkien archives there. She is currently working on another historical novel when she isn’t absorbed in the films or Special Features of the extended DVD editions of LOTR.

Nienna Dillomë is a free-lance writer and fantasy novelist who has long been an ardent devotee of Professor Tolkien's writings. The bookshelves in her lofty study groan under the ever-increasing weight of her Tolkien library. She lives in a version of The Last Homely House on the slopes of the White Mountains and has an herb and flower garden lush enough to rival those in Ithilien. She also attended the Marquette conference and has made many new LOTR friends across the country. She probably holds her city’s record for most theater viewings of The Fellowship of the Ring.

Editorial assistant:
Lady Carolwyn of the Laughing Springs is another life-long Tolkien and fantasy fan. While she has greatly enjoyed the Jedi Tales from a galaxy far, far away, her love for all things LOTR surpasses even that. She has long admired Aragorn, son of Arathorn, and is intent on collecting dvds of all of the films by his on-screen avatar, Viggo Mortensen. Her other LOTR ambition is to convince Peter Jackson to let her have Bag End.

House Mascot:
Orlaith, the sweet-natured, elegant sight hound who quietly and companionably sits by her mistress’s feet while Celevon spends hours at a time at the computer, emailing LOTR friends or working on her next fantasy novel. However, Orlaith does get enough daily romps across the green fields and through the oak woods surrounding her home to satisfy her pure elven-hound heart.
